COLOR FIRST ALWAYS
Some of my favorite vintage Marimekko fabrics—gathered over years of collecting—came together in these collages. Each piece holds its own story, so choosing where to begin is never easy. This time, I let the color guide me. Green felt like the season—fresh, hopeful, and alive—so I followed that instinct. My process is intuitive and tactile, a quiet conversation between fabric, scissors, and rhythm. It’s about honoring the material, trusting the palette, and creating something new from what’s already been loved.

The Wave
WOVEN FROM THE WALLS
This piece is made entirely from wallpaper scraps—each one a fragment of pattern, history, and home. I carefully cut and weave them together by hand, creating new rhythms from old designs. It’s like composing with texture and memory, where every strip finds a new role in a fresh pattern. The process is meditative and improvisational, turning what might be discarded into something intricate, layered, and full of quiet meaning. From wall to weave, it’s a second life for beautiful paper.
